Author:  Rose Senehi

Author: Rose Senehi, Ingalls Publishing Group
Rose Senehi has written four suspense/romance novels, the newest being In the Shadows of Chimney Rock about which Robert Morgan said, “This story will thrill and disturb you by turns, and also inspire hope for the years ahead for the highlands we love.”

Rose left Michigan where she was born, to attend Syracuse University, then worked as a reporter for several years before becoming the corporate marketing director of one of the nation’s largest mall developers. She drew from this highly charged environment to write her second novel, Windfall.

While racing from town to town opening malls, she lived on a hundred acre farm outside the small village of Cazenovia, New York, where she raised her two children. Her first novel, Shadows in the Grass, portrays the lives of the farm people who live in the uplands of Central New York.

Rose is known for weaving an environmental theme into her suspense/romances. Her third novel, Pelican Watch, is a tender love story laced with the unique flavor of a South Carolina barrier island where an unforgettable array of characters struggle to save the nesting grounds of the Loggerhead turtle.

She resides in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, but spends a great deal of time in her home in the mountains of Western North Carolina, about which, in addition to In the Shadows of Chimney Rock, she is planning on writing a series of novels.
