Marian Coe was the award-winning author of six books, a former staffer with the St. Petersburg Times in Florida, an Alabama native, and a transplanted North Carolinian. Coe is a winner of the Clara Award for Contemporary Mystery. She was an active member of High Country Writers, an insightful critique partner and a supportive member to other writers. She lived on Sugar Mountain with her artist husband, Paul Zipperlin. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
